I thought bulk buying beans was a myth until my pantry paid off

Last month I spent $12 on a 10-pound bag of pinto beans at the local co-op, and I've already saved $30 compared to buying cans each week. My family of four has turned them into soups, burritos, and even bean burgers - has anyone else found a weirdly good use for bulk beans?

Honestly the bean burger thing is where I shined but also where I messed up. One time I tried to skip the binding step and just smashed the beans with some breadcrumbs and it basically became a bean salad on a bun. Ngl that was a rough dinner. But my real win was making a big batch of refried beans and freezing half of it, now I just thaw and fry them up for quick tacos on busy nights.
