My kitchen win: baking bread at home

I picked up a simple recipe that uses basic ingredients. It saves so much money compared to buying it.

Oh man, I'm so with you on this. Baking your own bread is honestly one of the best things you can do at home. I started doing it last year, and the amount of money I've saved is just crazy. It's like, once you get the hang of it, you wonder why you ever bought the store stuff. Plus, there's something so satisfying about pulling a fresh loaf out of the oven. Really makes the whole place smell amazing too.

Right, @stella_hunt99, doesn't that smell just make the whole effort totally worth it?

You're right about the money saved, stella_hunt99. That's what got me started too. But for me, the real win is knowing every single thing that went into the loaf. No weird stuff, just flour, water, salt, and time. It turns a simple food into something you're really proud of.
