Walmart brand rice cooker died after only 4 months - what a waste of $25

Four months out of a $25 rice cooker sounds about right to me. You kind of get what you pay for with the store brand stuff, especially with small appliances. It's annoying but it's not like you lost a fortune. Just get a better one next time if you use it a lot.
