Hot take: those $12 airport sleeping pods are actually worth it
I always rolled my eyes at people paying for nap pods during long layovers, but after a 9 hour overnight in Chicago O'Hare last month I caved and paid $12 for 40 minutes in one. Slept better than I did in the free chairs all night, and honestly it kept me from being a zombie for my connecting flight. Am I crazy for thinking these things are underrated, or does someone have a cheaper trick for real sleep in an airport?
