Just figured out a weird trick for finding cheap flights to Dublin after a 3-hour search

I kept hitting $800+ prices until I switched my search to the nearby UK airport in Belfast and found a bus connection, which got me there for under $400 total. Anyone have other airport-switching ideas that have worked?

That Belfast switch is clever. I mean, do you check if the bus or train times line up with the flights before you book, or is it a gamble?

Did I check? I checked my wallet AFTER booking and THAT'S when the real panic set in.

My last "travel hack" was just booking the expensive flight... and then crying about it later.
