Just hit $12,000 in travel rewards from one credit card sign-up bonus strategy
Started churning airline cards two years ago just to get a free domestic flight, and ended up racking up enough miles for three round trips to Europe by stacking sign-up bonuses with referral offers. Never thought I'd actually pull it off since I'm just an accountant who books flights maybe twice a year. Anyone else ever hit a bigger milestone than they expected with points or miles?

Wait, did you combine sign-up bonuses with referral offers on the same card or were those separate? I did the same thing with Southwest and ended up with enough points for a companion pass plus two flights to Cancun. It's crazy how easy that stacking is when you time it right, like hitting that spending minimum on a big purchase and then sending a referral link to your spouse right after.

That whole "sending a referral link to your spouse right after" thing is exactly what made me a believer (I was super skeptical about churning before). I used to think it was all luck or you had to spend tons of money to get anywhere, but seeing how a simple timing play can double your points, for real, changed my mind completely. It's honestly wild how a few clicks can turn into thousands of miles just by linking a big purchase with a referral (like buying new tires for my car and then sending my wife the link). Now I get why people call it a strategy instead of just random collecting. It really is just about knowing little tricks like that, not having some secret account.
