My folding camping chair broke mid-trip at a rest stop in Oklahoma

I was using this $25 chair I grabbed on clearance last summer and the leg just gave out when I sat down to eat a sandwich near Tulsa. The metal tube snapped clean in half and I ended up eating my lunch on the curb with a sore butt. Anybody know a cheap brand of chair that actually holds up for more than a few trips?

Wait, I think most of those cheap Ozark Trail chairs are actually the same frame just with different fabric colors. I learned that the hard way when the armrest ripped on my blue one while my friend's green one held up fine. The welded joints are usually the weak spot, so look for a chair with reinforced brackets instead of just painted metal tubes if you want something that won't snap on you.

Stick with Ozark Trail but get the one with the thicker steel legs... the $35 version won't snap on you.
