Shoutout to the hostel in Lisbon that saved my trip

I booked what I thought was a legit cheap hostel in Lisbon for 12 euros a night but it was basically a construction site with beds. No wifi, no lockers, and the shower was just a hose in the hallway. I had to scramble on my phone at 11 PM and found this tiny place called Casa do Cais near the waterfront that took walk-ins for 20 euros. They gave me a clean room with AC and even let me store my bag for free the next day. Has anyone else had to ditch a bad hostel at the last minute?
