Spent 90 minutes trying to book a bus in Peru because I ignored the local app

I kept using big name booking sites for my trip from Cusco to Lima, but they all wanted $50. Turns out, the local bus company's own app had the same ticket for $12, and it took me way too long to find it because I didn't think to check. Has anyone else found a hidden local app that saved them a ton on transport?

That local app trick saved me in Thailand with their intercity train tickets. Same deal, the official app was half the price of the big booking sites.
