Stopped paying for airport food after I found a 7-Eleven near Terminal 3 in Denver last month

I used to drop $15 on a sad sandwich at the gate, but now I grab a $3 hot dog and Gatorade from that 7-Eleven just outside security on the train level. Has anyone else found a cheap food spot near a major airport that saves them money?

Hold up, is saving a few bucks on a hot dog really worth going all the way back outside security and dealing with that hassle again? Feels like a lot of trouble for a Gatorade.

@lee627 I used to think the same way but then I realized I just grab my stuff and walk right back through security with my boarding pass, takes maybe 10 minutes total and saves me $10+ every time.
