Vent: Paid $80 for a 'budget' hostel in Dublin and got a nightmare
I booked this place online thinking I was saving big, but when I got there, the room smelled like old socks and the wifi barely worked. The shared bathroom had a broken lock and no hot water after 9 PM. Cost me $80 a night which is way too much for such a dump. Has anyone else found a decent cheap spot in Dublin that's actually worth it?

The Generator Hostel was clean and had hot water when I stayed there for 50 euros a night.
