Found a $20 meal prep container set at the thrift shop and now my fridge is actually organized

I was at the Salvation Army on Broad Street last Saturday just browsing and spotted a complete set of glass meal prep containers for $20. They still had the sticker on the bottom showing they were originally $60 from Target. I grabbed them right away and spent Sunday making five days of lunches for about $18 total. Has anyone else found good kitchen gear secondhand that actually changed how you budget for food?

Scored a huge cast iron skillet for $8 at Goodwill and it changed how I cook everything now.

Why spend even a second hunting for used containers when the real savings come from just eating the same cheap meal straight out of the pot you cooked it in? @joel_young I get that a cast iron skillet is a one-time purchase, but obsessing over thrifted storage stuff feels like missing the point. Those $60 containers got donated for a reason, and half the budget wins I see on here are just people celebrating extra errands.
