I finally tracked every coffee shop trip for a month versus making it at home

The coffee shop habit was costing me over $90, but brewing my own with a simple French press was only about $12 for the same amount. Has anyone else found a small daily expense that really added up?

That math ignores the value of getting out of the house. The mental health boost from a change of scenery is worth a few bucks. Sometimes the cheaper option costs more in other ways.
