Overheard a coworker say they saved $40 a month just by switching their phone plan

They found a cheaper plan with the same data by checking their actual usage. Has anyone else done this recently and found a good deal?

My partner did something similar last year. They realized we were paying for way more home internet speed than we ever used. Called the provider, downgraded the plan, and now we save about $25 a month without noticing a difference.

That's a really smart move by your partner, @the_kevin. A lot of people just set and forget their internet plan. It's worth checking your actual usage every year or so, because needs change. You can often drop down a tier, especially if you're not gaming or downloading huge files all the time. That extra cash adds up over the months.
