Unpopular opinion: the $40 meal kit was worth it for me

Everyone says meal kits are a scam, but I spent $40 on one after a 60 hour work stretch and actually ate dinner every night instead of ordering out. The portions were fine for two and I didn't throw anything away. Has anyone else found a single delivery that beat their usual takeout habit?
