Watched a cashier at WinCo ring up coupons for 5 minutes and realized I've been wasting $40 a month not price matching

Standing in line at the grocery store on Tuesday I saw this lady save $12.50 on one transaction and it hit me that my whole system of just grabbing whatever is on sale without actually checking the app is costing me around $40 a month, has anyone else had that moment where you realize the store rewards program actually pays off if you use it right?

Yeah that one hit hard. Really messed up how they figure out who's struggling and then charge them more.
