Hit 500 pages in my bullet journal today... that's a lot of ink
I started my journal back in January thinking I'd maybe fill 100 pages by December. But here I am at page 500 and I honestly didn't see it coming. What convinced me to stick with it was seeing how much I actually use the daily logs for work stuff and random grocery lists. It's not just pretty spreads anymore... it's like a brain dump that actually works. Has anyone else blown past their own page count goals like this?

Just read an article about how people who stick with daily logging actually end up with way more pages than they planned for, because the habit shifts from being decorative to functional. Your brain dump point really hits home - that's exactly what happened with mine, where the messy lists and random notes took over and the fancy layouts faded into the background. 500 pages is a lot of ink though, hope you've got a solid pen that can keep up with that kind of volume without dying on you.

Oh man, you nailed it. Once it stops being a pretty hobby and turns into an actual tool for your brain, the page count just explodes. I think the thing that surprised me most is how the ugly pages are the ones I go back and actually read later, not the ones with the nice headings and washi tape. And yeah, the pen situation is real, I burned through two cheap ballpoints before I finally broke down and got something with a refill that lasts more than a week. Honestly though, if you told me when I started that I'd have this much ink on paper from just random life notes, I would have laughed.
