I had to choose between a $12 dotted notebook and a $2 composition book for my new bullet journal.

I went with the cheap one and now my fountain pen bleeds through every page, so what's a good budget notebook that actually works?

i mean i had good luck with those ones from the drugstore that have the weird textured covers. they're a little more but the paper holds up better than the totally cheap ones for sure.

Try the store brand notebooks, they're surprisingly thick.
