My aunt in Portland talked me out of a monthly setup page 4 years ago and I still miss it
Honestly, back in 2020 my aunt watched me build a fresh monthly spread in my Leuchtturm and made fun of me, saying the whole thing was a waste of time and I would quit bujo within 6 months. Tbh she was wrong, I kept the habit going, but I dropped the monthly page to save time and I have felt scattered ever since, especially during busy weeks at work. Ngl, has anyone gone back to a monthly setup after years without one, and did it actually help or just add clutter?
Wait, she talked you out of it but you still kept doing bujo? That part is a little off, sounds like she just got in your head about the monthly page specifically. Anyway, I went back to a monthly after like 2 years without one and it helped way more than I expected, mostly because I stopped trying to make it pretty. Mine is just a tiny calendar with deadlines and a short list of stuff I want done that month, takes 10 minutes, and it keeps me from losing track of things that don't fit on a daily page. So no, not clutter, as long as you keep it bare bones.
