Yeah, I'm totally on the side that the drawings are the point for some people (the act of decorating helps me remember the task way better than just writing it down, honestly). It turns a boring list into a map my brain actually wants to look at again.

Ever get that feeling where you're just staring at a blank page and your brain is totally empty? I'll start doodling in the margins, just random shapes, and somehow that gets the gears turning.
