My therapist's 10 minute rule for daily logs saved my week
She told me to cap my daily log at 10 minutes, so I wrote just the next three tasks and moved on. Used it Monday in Seattle during a crazy work push, and I actually finished stuff instead of decorating pages. Does anyone else set a timer for their bujo or is that just me being weird?

Read somewhere that bullet journaling burnout usually hits around month three because people turn it into a second job. That 10 minute cap makes sense, it keeps the log from becoming a chore. I tried a 5 minute rule once but that was too tight, I just ended up scribbling nonsense. The trick for me is setting a stopwatch on my phone and putting it face down so I don't watch the timer tick. It sounds silly but it works, I actually look forward to the quick check in now instead of avoiding it. The fancy layouts are pretty online but they're not worth losing your whole lunch break over.
