My tracker pages used to be a mess of colors and stickers
Back when I first started my bullet journal, I tried to make every tracker a work of art. My mood tracker was a rainbow, my habit tracker had a sticker for each day. It looked nice, but I never actually used the data. About four months ago, I switched to just a simple grid with checkmarks and a 1-5 rating. No colors, no art. I fill it out every night now because it takes maybe two minutes. The info is way clearer. I can actually see patterns, like my sleep score dips when I work late. Has anyone else moved from fancy trackers to something super basic and found it worked better?

Honestly, the colors and stickers are the only reason I keep up with mine. The simple grid just feels like another chore to me.

My own bullet journal has a whole page just for sticker ideas (it's a bit much, honestly). @elizabethwhite, what kind of stickers do you find yourself using the most? I'm always looking for new themes to try out beyond the basic flowers and animals.

Oh man, a whole page for sticker ideas sounds totally normal to me! I get it though, sometimes you just need to plan the vibe. Elizabethwhite, I'm with you on the colors being the main draw, because otherwise it feels like homework. My own journal is basically held together by washi tape and sarcastic little label stickers. I've been really into those tiny food stickers lately, like mini tacos and coffee cups, they make my boring task lists way more fun.
