My whole weekly spread fell apart because I forgot a $3 glue stick
I was so proud of my layout last Sunday, did all these little drawings and taped in some receipts. Then by Wednesday half the pages were flopping out because I used a cheapo glue stick that just dried up and crumbled. I had to rip everything out and start over with a plain old tape runner from the dollar store. Now I keep a backup roll right in the pocket of my notebook so this doesn't happen again. Has anyone else had a favorite tool or supply just totally fail on them mid-week?

oh man I feel your pain. I had this happen with a washi tape last year, thought it was fine then by day 3 it was peeling off everything. what worked for me was switching to those little dot roller adhesives, they hold way better in my notebook even when I'm shoving it in my bag. also started keeping a tiny sample size of super glue in my pen loop just in case something major falls apart, has saved me twice now.

Dot roller is the way to go, I switched after a craft fail and never looked back. The super glue tip is genius though, I'm definitely stealing that for my kit.
