Pro tip: someone told me my weekly spread was way too cluttered
I was cramming every task and appointment into one page and wondering why I never stuck with it. A friend said it looked like a mess and asked why I didn't just leave empty space. At first I was annoyed but then I tried spreading things over two pages with only 4-5 items per day. Now I actually fill it out instead of quitting after Wednesday. Has anyone else had to totally rework their layout after someone pointed out the obvious?

Used to be one of those people who thought more stuff on the page = more productive. Like if I didn't fill every square inch I was wasting paper. Then my buddy looked at my spread and was like "dude this looks like a ransom note." Tried the whole spread it over two pages thing with way less per day and turns out I actually follow through now. Having like 5 things instead of 20 means I actually check off half of them instead of ignoring the whole thing by Tuesday. Still leaves room for notes and random stuff too which I never had before.

Wait, are you guys saying you only put 5 things per day? That sounds almost too low for me, but I gotta admit I was doing the same cram-everything-in mess. My wake up call was when I realized I was writing stuff like "buy milk" right next to "finish quarterly report" and somehow thought that was a good idea lol. Now I do 2 pages but I group stuff into categories like errands vs. actual work so my brain doesn't explode.
