Rant: My bullet journal migration process is driving me nuts

I spend too much time moving unfinished tasks to new pages each week. It feels like I am just copying the same items over and over. For example, my goal to exercise three times a week never gets checked off. This makes my journal feel heavy with old stuff instead of fresh plans. I love bullet journaling, but this part saps my motivation. How do you handle tasks that keep rolling over without it being a drag? I need a better way to manage this without quitting the system altogether.

Migration burnout is real, especially when you see the same tasks every week. That exercise goal staring back at you must feel defeating. Are you breaking down 'exercise three times' into specific days or activities? Sometimes vague tasks hide the real blockers, like not having a clear plan or motivation dips. What does your weekly setup look like before you migrate? I'm curious if changing how you log these rolling tasks could make them less daunting.

Tbh, what if the burnout is more about the shame of moving unfinished goals each week? Like @ryan_taylor24 mentioned, specific plans help, but honestly, I started logging "any movement for 10 minutes" instead of "exercise three times". Seeing those small wins during migration made me feel less stuck. It turns the list from a judge into a helper, you know?
