Spent 2 hours looking for a ruler I already had
Started a new weekly spread and couldn't find my clear ruler anywhere. Dug through three drawers, checked the car, even looked in the garage. Finally gave up and ordered a new one online for $8. Found the original an hour later stuck behind my bookshelf.

Ugh I swear buying something is like a magic signal for the universe to reveal the original. It's honestly one of those weird life rules that the second you commit to buying a replacement is exactly when the lost thing shows up. I bet there's some kind of universal law about it, like the more desperate you are for something the harder it hides.

Isn't it the truth though? I lost my favorite pair of scissors for six months, bought a new set, and then found the old ones just sitting in the tool box the very next day. Kinda makes you wonder if the universe has a twisted sense of humor or something.
