Spent 4 hours trying to design a weekly spread that actually fits my work schedule and then realized I just needed two columns
I kept trying to cram meetings and deadlines into one layout but after drawing and redrawing seven times across three evenings I finally gave up and split the page in half and it worked perfectly, has anyone else gone through way too many trial layouts before finding the one that clicks?

Did you use a ruler or just freehand it? I bought one of those fancy dotted journals once and spent more time measuring than actually writing anything down.

Grabbed a ruler at first but got annoyed after three pages and threw it aside. Ended up freehanding everything and honestly my lines look like a toddler drew them. Dotted journals are a trap I swear, you think they'll help but they just make you obsess over spacing. Now I just use plain notebooks and draw straight lines with a credit card as a guide. Way faster and nobody's judging my crooked borders anyway.

Oh man, I once drew a whole calendar backwards before realizing my pen was upside down.
