That $60 dotted notebook I bought was a total waste of money

I picked up this fancy dotted notebook from a local craft store (you know, the one everyone raves about) for around $60 thinking it would fix my bullet journaling game. The paper bled through with my cheap gel pens on the first week, and the binding cracked after two months of daily use. I went back to my $8 composition notebook from the grocery store and my layouts look just as good if not better. Why do we keep pushing these expensive notebooks when a basic one does the same job? Has anyone else found a cheaper notebook that actually holds up?

Dude same here. I fell for that whole hype train last year and my $60 notebook literally fell apart on me. My $3 one from the grocery store has been through hell and still looks fine.

Seems like there's always a premium version of everything that barely works better than the cheap stuff.
