That stat about washi tape fading in direct sunlight got me
I left my bullet journal on my desk by the window for about 3 weeks last month. When I flipped through it, the washi tape I used for my habit tracker had turned pale and yellowish. I looked into it online and found out most washi tapes fade within 2 to 4 weeks if they get direct sun. The UV rays just break down the colors super fast. I moved my journal to a drawer after that and started using a bookmark to mark my page instead. Has anyone else had their decorations fade like that?

Sunlight ruins everything nice eventually, doesn't it.

My vintage flower tapes in my planner turned into sad beige blobs after a month near the kitchen window. Now everything lives in a drawer and I just bring out the roll when I need it. Learned that one the hard way.
