The collection log is a trap if you treat it like a diary

I see people writing a full paragraph about their feelings next to a coffee stain. That's not a log, that's a journal with extra steps. Mine is just a one-word mood and a checkbox, takes 20 seconds a day, and I actually stick with it past March. Anyone else ditch the decorative spreads for pure function?
