Update: dropped $65 on a dot grid notebook and I still can't decide if it was a mistake
I splurged on a Leuchtturm1917 at my local shop in Denver two weeks ago thinking the nicer paper would fix my messy spreads, but my $12 Walmart notebook honestly held ink just as well. Curious if anyone else has spent real money on a journal and regretted it, or did the upgrade actually stick for you?

Ugh, same! My $30 Moleskine bleed worse than a cheapo one.
