Went from monthly layouts to weekly spreads about 6 months ago and it actually stuck

I used to do these big monthly calendar pages with tons of color coding and stickers. It looked great but I never actually went back to check what I wrote. Then back in March I got tired of flipping past empty days so I switched to a simple weekly spread with just 4 sections: tasks, meals, notes, and a tiny habit tracker. Now I actually fill in every day because the space feels less intimidating. Has anyone else found that switching formats helped them be more consistent?

Doesn't a week give you too much empty space when you have a slow week?

Honestly, I kind of like the empty space. It gives me a chance to actually get ahead on stuff or just breathe a little when things are slow. If you have a busy week the space fills up fast anyway. Plus it's easier to plan around a bigger chunk of time than trying to squeeze things into a few days.
