Notice how these moments often come out of nowhere. Your friend probably wasn't looking for it, but it hit him anyway. It's funny how life works that way, giving us clear thoughts when we least expect it. I've seen similar things happen to people around me, and it always changes their view. The key is what they do with that new knowledge afterwards. Some make big changes, while others just adjust their daily habits slowly.

My cousin had one of those moments last year and quit his job. But honestly, he was already pretty unhappy, so it wasn't that out of the blue. I mean, sometimes we call any big decision a "moment of clarity" to make it sound deeper than it is. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like people read into these things a lot.
