Dexter Russell vs the $12 mystery knife from a flea market, no contest

Grabbed a no name boning knife at a flea market in Tulsa for $12 last month and fought it through 40 pounds of chicken leg quarters before switching back to my Dexter Russell. The cheap one couldn't hold an edge past 10 minutes and the handle twisted in my grip, while the Russell broke down the rest of the case in half the time. Anyone else got a flea market knife story that actually worked out, or is it always this letdown?
