Don't waste $150 on those diamond sharpening plates from that Amazon brand
Bought a set of diamond sharpening plates off Amazon about 3 months ago from a company called SharpPro. First use they worked okay but by the second week the grit was already wearing off in spots. By last month they were basically useless and I was getting worse edges than before. Anyone else had cheap diamond plates fail on them that fast?

Guess that $150 bought you a fancy set of rocks instead of sharpening plates.

and honestly that's the thing with some of these budget brands, you're really just paying for the name and the fancy packaging lol. like i get that sharpening plates aren't cheap to make but $150 for something that's basically a glorified decorative item? thats rough. its like buying a $50 pizza cutter that can't even cut through a pizza crust. for that money you could get a solid set of actual sharpening plates from a reputable company that will last years and actually work
