Had a customer at the shop ask for a 'vegan pork chop' and I just froze

I mean, I was working the counter at Miller's Meats in Springfield last Tuesday, and this guy comes in with a list. He points to the pork chops and asks if we have a vegan version. I just stood there for a solid ten seconds, idk, my brain just blue-screened. I finally had to explain the whole 'animal product' thing, and he got it, but now I always double-check what people actually want before I start cutting. Anyone else have a request that just made you stop and blink?

My buddy at the plant nursery had a lady ask for a cactus that didn't need any sun or water.

That reminds me of the time someone asked for a houseplant that could survive in a closet with no windows. Like, maybe try a nice plastic fern?

Man I would've frozen too, that's like asking for a round square. My own brain does a hard reset when someone asks me something that makes that little sense, always takes me a few seconds to reboot. Guess we all have those moments where we just stare at the customer like a confused golden retriever.
