My old band saw finally gave up yesterday
Been using the same Hobart since 1998. The blade tensioner snapped clean in half during a Saturday rush on pork shoulders. I finished the morning with a handsaw and a lot of swearing. Anybody else keep running gear way past its prime?

Ngl that handsaw story is wild. Tbh I would have just called it a day and told everyone the pork shoulders were sold out before breaking out a handsaw on bone. That must have taken forever and your arm had to be dead after.
