Remember when all we had was a hand saw and a steel? I miss those days sometimes.
Walked into the shop this morning and realized I've been cutting with a bandsaw for almost 10 years now, but back in '94 my old boss made me learn every primal cut with just a handsaw and a stone. Any of you old school guys still break out the manual tools on purpose?

Yeah nothing beats the feel of a good handsaw through bone. Keeps you humble.

Gotta respect a tool that's been around forever. Handsaws make you work for every cut, no shortcuts. Good way to stay grounded in the craft.
