Shoutout to the guy who ordered 40 pounds of custom sausage links on a Tuesday morning
I was just opening the shop when he walked in and asked for a mix of jalapeno cheddar and apple sage, all in natural casings. It took me and my apprentice the whole morning to grind, mix, and stuff it all, but the customer was so happy he tipped us $50. What's the biggest custom order you've had to handle on a regular day?

Ever notice how the weirdest, biggest orders always come on the most random days? It's like people get this sudden, huge idea and just have to do it right then... no planning. Makes you wonder what they're cooking up for. We had a lady come in once needing a whole pig butchered for a last minute family reunion... on a Wednesday afternoon. Threw the whole week off.

Tell Robert_rodriguez66 we started charging extra for rush jobs on weird days. Makes people think twice or at least pays for the hassle.

Tell @shane244 that I started tacking on a "weird day fee" (makes people actually think before they call).
