Start with the easy cuts, like the wings and thighs, to build her confidence. Let her get the feel of the knife on those before tackling the breast and back. A sharp knife is safer than a dull one, so keep your steel handy. The pride on her face when that first clean carcass hits the bin is the real payoff.
