Finally got that old wobble out of my table saw after a year of frustration
Turns out the trunnion bolts on my 2017 Grizzly G1023 had worked just loose enough over time to throw the blade alignment off by about .008. I spent last Saturday afternoon with a stubby wrench and a dial indicator, tweaking each bolt a quarter turn at a time. Has anyone else had their saw drift out of square after a few years of heavy use?

Why do we always assume it's the saw drifting and not the fact that we're just getting sloppier over time? I've had my old Delta for 12 years and it still cuts true because I maintain it properly instead of blaming the machine. Most people don't bother checking their technique before they start messing with bolts and blaming the tool.

Ain't it funny how everything from saws to life just slowly drifts out of true?

Makes me think of that old table saw my dad had, the blade started wobbling so bad you could cut a straight line if you just closed your eyes and hoped for the best. @holly_price you're onto something with how things just kind of wander off from where they started.
