Heard a guy at the lumber yard say 'just use construction adhesive for everything' and I had to walk away before I said something I'd regret.

I mean sure it works for some stuff but have you ever tried prying apart a joint that got hit with that stuff when the customer changes their mind 6 months later?

Oh man, my buddy used adhesive to hang shelves and they're still stuck after two moves.

Adhesive is a trap, that stuff never comes off clean.
