Just dropped $450 on a digital angle gauge and it's already paid for itself

I kept eyeballing my miter saw setup for face frames and it was always a tiny bit off. Bought the Wixey WR300 after seeing a guy in my shop use one, and it got my saw dialed in perfectly in about two minutes. The joints on my last kitchen job were so tight I barely needed filler. Anyone have a different brand they swear by for this kind of thing?

Ever try the iGaging one? I grabbed it on a whim a few years back and it's still kicking. The magnet is crazy strong, so it stays put on the saw. It just feels solid, you know? I was in the same boat with my cuts being a hair off... that little thing fixed it right up.

Oh man, that magnet sounds like a dream. My current setup involves a sad little clamp and a lot of hopeful wishing... which explains why my last project looks like it was assembled by a drunk raccoon. Should probably stop blaming my tools and just get something that actually stays put.
