The domino effect of a bad glue joint last Tuesday
I was putting together a set of kitchen cabinets in Arlington last week. Everything was going smooth until I realized I forgot to wipe down a mitered edge before applying the glue. That one little spot failed and the whole face frame twisted on me. Took me an extra 3 hours to get it square again. Anyone else had a project spiral because of one tiny mistake like that?

That Arlington job sounds like a mess. How exactly did the twist happen? Was it just the one joint that pulled the whole face frame out of whack, or did it mess up the measurements for the adjoining doors and drawers too?

Just the one joint" sounds like a one-off screwup to me. People act like one bad joint collapses the whole kitchen, but usually you just fix it and move on.
