Am I the only one who keeps finding coax cables buried in weird spots?
Last Tuesday I was running a new line for a customer in Phoenix and my shovel hit something solid about 4 inches down. Dug it up and it was an old RG6 with a splitter just sitting in the dirt, no protective box or anything. How do you guys handle finding random lines from previous installs that nobody documented?

@the_alice snipping them all seems quick, but I'd trace a few first to avoid killing someone's feed.

A buddy of mine was digging post holes in his backyard in Tucson and pulled up a whole nest of old coax cables wrapped around a rusted grounding rod. Said he counted like seven different cables all spliced together with electrical tape nobody bothered to remove. He just snipped them all and threw them in the trash because nobody could figure out where they went anyway.
