Bought a cheap coax crimper from a gas station and it broke on the second job
I was in a pinch and grabbed a 'Quick-Crimp' tool for $12 at a truck stop near Toledo. The handle snapped clean off while I was finishing a drop for a customer, and I had to drive back to the shop for my good one, wasting about an hour. Anyone know a decent, cheap backup tool that won't fall apart?

A gas station sold you a crimper?

Yeah man, I feel that. I grabbed one of those same Quick-Crimp things at a random gas station outside St. Louis and it bent sideways on the very first connector I tried to squeeze.

Used to buy those bargain bin tools all the time. That exact thing happened to me with a cheap stripper, and it was the last straw. I just save up for a Klein or a Paladin now, even if it takes longer. They cost more but you only cry once.
