Hot take: I started using a 6ft drill bit for interior wall drops and now I'm not sure I can go back
Got tired of fishing blind through insulation in a two story in Charlotte last month, so I grabbed a 6ft flexible bit and drilled straight down from the attic into the top plate. The pull took 11 minutes instead of the usual 40, and I did not nick a single wire. But now I'm second guessing myself, since I can't see what's behind the wall and one bad angle could send that bit through a water line. Is this a legit trick or am I just getting lucky so far?
