Just found out my work van is a rolling fire hazard

Been hauling coax and tools for 8 years in a 2016 Ford Transit, never thought twice about it. Last week I read the National Fire Protection Association handbook during a slow job in Columbus, and apparently loose cable jacks and splitters can short against battery terminals if the bin dividers fail. Checked mine this morning, sure enough one divider was barely holding, and a bucket of connectors was sitting right near the positive post. Anyone else ever had a near miss with their rig, or do you guys actually strap down your scrap metal?
