Last Tuesday was the worst day I've had on the job in 5 years

Started out fine, first install was a basic cable hookup in a new subdivision near Austin. Got to the second house and the homeowner told me his dog chewed through the line in the attic. Spent 3 hours crawling around up there in 100 degree heat replacing 80 feet of coax, only to find the attic access was blocked by storage bins. By the time I finished I was covered in dust and sweat, and my knees ached for two days. Has anyone else had an attic job that just went completely sideways?

I had a buddy who spent six hours in an attic with a raccoon.

I mean, six hours with a raccoon sounds bad but honestly how bad could it be? Idk maybe it's just me but raccoons aren't that scary compared to like a possum or a stray cat. Unless it was rabid or something, I feel like you could just wait it out or wave a broom at it. Six hours is a long time though, I'll give you that.
