Overheard a guy saying we should all charge a flat $50 truck fee for every job

He said it covers gas and wear, but I figure it just makes customers angry before we even start. Do you add a truck charge upfront or roll it into the labor rate to keep things smoother?

Hold up - do you really think customers can't see through a hidden fee buried in your hourly rate? I don't get why you'd hide it like that. Flat fee or not, they're still paying the same money at the end of the day.
